Full Time Ecologist
We are looking for an ecologist with two plus years experience within a consultancy environment, to join our Kent office.
The ideal candidate will have a graduate/post graduate degree in a related topic and be a member of CIEEM.
You will hold 1 or more protected species licence/s, have experience in UK Habitat Classification survey and a range of field surveys, undertaking site supervision, producing biodiversity net gain assessments, preparing professional reports and creating plans in QGIS
Ideally, you will have contributed towards Protected Species Licence applications, and will have experience managing projects including liaison with clients.
A UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are also essential.

Senior Ecologist
We are looking for an experienced Senior Ecologist to join our Kent office on a fixed term contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent. We are happy to consider full and part time positions.
If you have a graduate/post graduate degree in a related topic CIEEM membership and five plus years experience since joining the industry please do apply!
We are looking for a experienced motivated Senior Ecologist with strong organisational, technical report writing, QGIS or ArcGIS and field survey skills.
With 1 or more protected species licence/s and evidence of progress towards others, you will have experience in a range of habitat and field surveys, producing biodiversity net gain assessments, preparing professional reports and creating plans in QGIS.
You will also be experienced in project managing small to large projects, including liaison with clients and multidisciplinary teams and compiling Protected Species Licence applications.
A UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.

Freelance Ecologist
We are looking for Ecologists and Field Ecologists to provide freelance support in the upcoming season, it is set to be another busy ecology season for Bakerwell Limited with some exciting projects!
We are looking to build a diverse support team who have a range of experience levels and skillsets.
We carry out a wide range of field surveys over the survey season, such as surveys and mitigation schemes for reptiles, bats, great crested newts, birds and badgers.
We are also looking for support with bat sound analysis, report writing and data analysis. In addition, we are also currently working on a number of sites requiring Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and enhancement.
You must hold a relevant degree and (if applying for field surveys or ecological supervision) hold a full driving licence and your own vehicle.
